PMP® exam is changing in January 2016!

The PMP Exam Content Outline, dated June 2015 is now final and those planning to write the PMP exam after January 11, 2016 should refer to the updated version because last day to write the exam under current version of PMP exam is Janaury 11, 2016.

As you may have heard, recently PMI announced that the content of the PMI-ACP exam is changing! PMI has decided to run a pilot from July 15 to October 15, 2015 with new content, before the changes are finalized.

However, if you apply to write the PMI-ACP exam before August 16th 2015, you are eligible for a 20% rebate on your exam fee!

The new pilot exam will be administered, with scores delivered on or before October 22, 2015. After October 15, 2015, exam takers will receive their score immediately after the testing, as usual.

A PMO should enable organizations to implement processes and methods that help the organization not only meet their technical goals but also accomplish the processes around the technology implemented. To survive and thrive, a PMO’s best approach would be to provide knowledge, guidance and mentoring to project teams, and to help them choose and apply the right methodology to fit the requirements of the project.

As you may already heard, from January 1, 2014 forward the ITIL and PRINCE2 Project Management (PPM) portfolio will be managed by Axelos, which is taking over the accreditor responsibilities from APMG.

AXELOS was formally established on 1 July 2013. It is a joint venture company owned by Capita (51%) and the British Government (49%). The CEO of AXELOS, Peter Hepworth, was appointed on 1 July. Staff from the Cabinet Office that deals with the Best Practice portfolio were transferred to AXELOS.
