Overview

The DASA DevOps Leader qualification is aimed at managers and leaders who have working experience and interest in taking a (formal or informal) leadership role. These leaders help teams and organizations to transform to become more nimble, grow revenues and profits, accelerate new value propositions, increase the performance of teams and get more business value out of IT.

The course consists of 8 practice-based sessions, designed to accelerate your understanding of the challenges involved in leading a transformation towards a DevOps-oriented style of working and operating, and the leadership approaches to mitigate risks in such transformations.

Given the construct of the program to focus on real-life and practical approaches, the program is enriched by experience sharing among the participants and is facilitated by instructors whom all have real-life experiences of witnessing failures and successes of such transformations.

Pre-Requisites

Basic familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps is beneficial. The course aims at (prospective) managers and leaders who have working experience or interest in taking a (formal or informal) leadership role to help teams and organizations to transform—grow, accelerate, increase their performance, and get more business value out of IT.

There is no need to be certified on DASA DevOps Fundamentals. Before the Coach course, the participants will receive FREE access to DevOps and Agile related online courses in addition to reading materials about DASA’s Competency Model and the 6 DASA Principles.

Certification Requirements

You will receive the required certification from DASA on the successful completion of the DASA DevOps Leader assessment.

Assessment Details

The DASA Leader assessment is the perfect way to gauge your theoretical knowledge. This assessment is unique in that it is activity-based, meaning that you will be able to learn through reflection and experimenting.

Our focus is on how you learn through reflection and activity-based learning. So you can be sure you’re getting the most comprehensive learning possible. Plus, with the option to choose between a transformation position paper or a case study, you can tailor your assessment to your specific needs.
