This four-day (30 PDU) course provides participants with an extensive introduction to Portfolio Management. The course material is designed for people with a project, program or portfolio management experience who want to learn or improve their knowledge about portfolio management, and those who want to sit for the exam. It supports them in understanding portfolio management concepts and preparing for the PfMP exam.

PMI expanded into Portfolio Management in 2005 with the release of The Standard for Portfolio Management – First Edition, which was updated to the 3^rd Edition on January 1, 2013. This course is based on the Standard for Portfolio Management – Third Edition and includes everything identified in the Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)^® Examination Content Outline.

This course will help you learn and apply portfolio management domains, tasks, knowledge, skills, process groups, tools, and techniques that are recommended as part of your organization’s effort to improve the delivery of its strategic objectives.
